Building your Teeces Hardware
The Teeces hardware is not my design. It was designed by John Vannoy, who used the username Teeces on the Astromech forum. There is Wiki page on Astromech.net that explains the Teeces:

The PCB boards can be bought here:

A very good manual that explains how to assemble these is on JoyMonkey's Teeces website, and is available for download at the bottom of this page too:

MARS Props Dome
We are planning on getting a dome from MARs Props. More info to come.
Dome Drive System
The dome's drive system uses a pittman motor, scooter wheel, and a rockler bearing. The way this system works is the dome attaches via 10 bolts to the inner part of the rockler bearing that is attached to the body's frame. The motor gets mounted just below the top of the frame. The scooter wheel is attached on the pittman's axle. The scooter wheel is positioned onto the rockler bearing, allowing the dome to spin when the motor is turned on via the Syren 10 motor controller.
Dome Panels
No information yet, as our dome has not been ordered.
Holoprojectors
We have decided to use Creative Solution's resin holoprojectors. The set that we are getting has one movable HP and two static ones. This set costs $25. Now that we have one movable HP, I ordered one of Mowee's HP control systems. This system uses two servos (X axis, Y axis) and spring linkages to connect to a stick - like piece on the HP. This allows the HP to be moved up, down, right, and left, as well as anywhere in between. See the blog post by clicking the button below:
